A up and coming, quiet university town with nice clean, safe neighborhoods. The streets are a mixture of partially paved cobblestone and dirt roads. There is also a Lienzo Charro ( Rodeo Stadium) where they hold rodeo's and other outdoor activities throughout the year.
The convention center is a stones throw away.
And area as a whole is a good investment opportunity for anyone who is a visionary.
No Major chains or restaurants in the area, mostly taco and torta shops. It is close enough to Marina Vallarta that has many wonderful restaurants available, Mexican Nationals wouldn't call it a vacation unless they visited the Sonora Prime Grill.
